What are the machine requirements for AccountSafe
AccountSafe was designed to be lightweight and be as unobtrusive as possible
on a machine in the knowledge that for some organisations the latest hardware
is not always available.
The system runs on any flavour of Microsoft Windows from Windows 95 onwards.
There needs to be about 5mb of disc space and sufficient memory to run Windows
i.e. 256kb would be fine for Windows 95/98/Me for instance, c. 500kb for XP and 1gb for Vista
You will need to have a printer installed so you can see the reports.
You will need Microsoft Excel (version 97 or greater) if you want to export
reports to Excel.
You will need either Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word to view some of the
demonstration documentation.
How many decimal places can AccountSafe manage
Each transaction can be stored in up to 16 decimal places and currency exchange
rates are calculated to 8.
